The Awakening
By love is love awakened. That the world might be won back to God, the deceptive power of the lies surrounding His character were to be broken. This could not be done by force. The exercise of force is contrary to the principles of God’s kingdom. He desires only the service of love. And love cannot be commanded. It cannot be won by force or authority. Only by love is love awakened. His character must be manifested. This work only one Being in all the universe could do. Only He who knew the height and depth of the love of God could make it known. Only one could say, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father." (John 14:9) When we begin to see God through the radical lens of Jesus Christ, not only does "love" begin to define and shape everything we believe, but it also revolutionizes all the ways we relate to others in our daily life, even our enemies. Love is more than a concept. It's a way of life. And only by love is love awakened. (Ephesians 5:1,2; 1 John 4:19)
And Forgive Us Our Trespasses . . .
Some of the most significant, relationally inhibiting misconceptions of God in our modern culture are the misunderstandings that surround the subject of Divine Forgiveness. We relate to God and to others the way we, in our hearts, perceive God is relating to us. Does God really withhold forgiveness until we apologize? Which comes first, repentance and confession or forgiveness? Does a loving God require us to ask Him before He'll forgive? How can God require us to forgive those who have wronged us, even the ones who have never asked to be forgiven, if He Himself doesn't even give blanket forgiveness to everyone too? What does forgiveness even mean? When we place the transparency of the life of Jesus over these questions, a new dimension to our understanding begins to emerge. Did Jesus really mean, "If you've seen me you've seen the Father" and what does this mean when we apply it to what we believe about God's forgiveness? If you have ever wrestled with truly feeling that you are forgiven, this series is for you. If you have ever wrestled with truly forgiving others who have hurt you, this series is for you too. Have your heart set free, as you encounter God, and experience His radical, self sacrificial, other centered forgiveness as you never have before. Experience the difference it makes when we embrace the truth that Jesus is the exact "Image" of what God is like, especially in relation to Divine Forgiveness. (Hebrews 1:1-3; John 1:18; Matthew 5:44,45)

Illuminating Shadows
This is a four presentation series on the challenge that many find in harmonizing the God we see through the lens of Jesus Christ with the picture of God we get through the lens of the Old Testament. The Neo-Atheism of today is rooted in the subjects of this discussion. In our culture today, based on the Old Testament many are claiming that God is a nationalistic, violent, racist who is genocidal, misogynistic, homophobic, and in favor of slavery. Yet when we look at Jesus, if God is like Jesus (Hebrews 1:1-3, John 14:9), we get an entirely, radically, different picture of God. This series is both thought provoking and heart warming as well. If you have ever wrestled with questions over the God of Old Testament then this series is for you.
Light in the Darkness
Light in the scriptures is many times a metaphor for truth, while darkness symbolizes lies. Light in the Darkness is an culturally relevant comparison of today’s popularly held, darkened misconceptions of God’s character in contrast to the illuminating life and teaching of Jesus Christ. The earth was dark through misapprehension of God. That the gloomy shadows might be lightened, upon this world’s dark night the Sun of Righteousness must rise, "with healing in His rays." (Malachi 4:2)

Life Unlimited
In today's Western individualistic culture, many seek to get worth, value, identity, and security from either their success, social strata, possessions, sex appeal and for some, even their religion. Sadly, for many, it's an endless pursuit of always feeling "hungry." Life Unlimited gets us back in touch with our original center for worth, value, fulfillment and meaning, through rediscovering God's character of love through the lens of Jesus. This series is truly life transforming. Thousands have shared that their lives became dramatically revolutionized as they began to encounter God as they never had before.
The Jesus Dialogue
The Jesus Dialogue was born out of a six hour conversation Herb had with a gentleman he met on plane who said, "I believe there is a God, I have no interest in Christianity, but I am intrigued by this person named Jesus." This series is an honest look at the difference between following a religion versus following the person Jesus Christ. The more familiar folks become with what Jesus taught and what His kingdom was all about, the more that many of them begin to question how modern Christianity even fits into this. If you feel drawn toward Jesus, but have a hard time with "Church" you are not alone. This series has helped many become a follower of Jesus without having to embrace the teachings and practices of a Christianity that today is what they feel to be anything but "like Jesus."

Extravagant Love
Extravagant Love is a life-changing series of seventeen presentations on the radical, other centered, self sacrificial picture of God we get when we look at God through the lens of Jesus Christ. This series is truly an exploration of disinterested benevolence and the difficult to fathom, universal generosity we see in the light of the teachings of Jesus. This series maintains a level of intellectual honesty that is refreshing, while appealing also to the heart. Experience the extravagant love that defines what Jesus' Kingdom is all about.
The Revealing
One of the most damaging misrepresentations of God and His love has emerged in the centuries that have followed after the ministry of Jesus. The light of God's character, once revealed through the life and death of Jesus Christ, has been subject to untold damage in the hearts of the masses. The book of Revelation reveals that the possibility of Christianity's misrepresentation of God's character was foreseen and warned of. Revelation doesn't stop there though. It also points forward to a day when the earth will be once again “lightened” with the glorious, climactic, final revelation of God’s character of love as it really is. Experience the dawning of a new day as you encounter not only how God’s character has been distorted throughout Christian history but also as you encounter God's calling to you, as a follower of Jesus, to return to the radical, self sacrificial, other centered love of the Kingdom.
